sippy cups
how old was your child or children when they quit drinking from a sippy cup?
How About Disposable Sippy Cups?
This is such a great idea if you have little ones at home, or even if you're likely to have some as visitors...Recycle those small, individual size yogurt containers!Wash thoroughly,be sure to keep the lids. With an exacto knife, make a small X in the center of each lid. For use, replace the lid, pop in a straw, and you're good to go!
Sippy Cups
I have a 9 month old and she is getting too old for the bottle. We need to which to sippy cups. We started with the Advent "magic cups" and she didn't like them. We want something bpa free too. Does anyone have any advice, are you sure they are BPA free? Please help me out. My husband won't just buy one, but he won't do the research either. I don't know what I am doing anymore then t=him.
Toddler's and sippy cups
I want to wean my daughter off her sippy cup. Do I just take it away from her cold turkey and deal with the tantrums that follow? My other children never had a sippy cup. She refuses to drink out of a big girl cup. I bought her a cool Cinderella cup but that has not helped either. I am afraid this sippy cup is going to cause her to have bad teeth. Do you have any Idea's?
toddler's and sippy cups or bottles in bed
did you or do you send your kids to bed with a drink. i never did this and i never really realized how many people did. to me it was never necessary and my daughter never got up asking for something to drink. i always heard it was bad for their teeth if it was anything other than water to send. did you do this was it because you didn't want to get up if your child wanted a drink. i just don't see the reasoning.
How do I get my child to switch from bottles to sippy cups?
My son is not really open to change. He likes his bottles. He won't take anything but formula! When we try to give him a sippy cup, he screams! He is 11 months old is nearing the time when he shouldn't be having bottles anymore. Does anyone have any advice or experience on this?
How do you get babies get used to sippy cups?
I've run into a discussion here in mylot about weaning babies from feeding bottles. And there were a lot of responses says that they should be off the bottles by 1 year old. My baby's is turning 11 months soon and I wanna start training her to get used to sippy cups. She's been drinking water from since a couple of months ago, but I've attempted to give her milk from it, but she just won't drink from it no matter how hungry she is. I bought two kinds one with silicon spout and one with the regular one. I wanna know from mom's here, how did you make them get used to it. Please help me.
How do you start sippy cups?
I've been trying for about 3 months now to get my son to drink from sippy cups but he doesn't seem to like them. He'll drink about half of whatever is in it and loose intrest. He's 11 months old and I am tempted to just throw out all his bottles. Any suggestions on how to get him used to them?
When do you stop using Sippy Cups?
When is the right age for stopping use of a sippy cup and training your child to use a regular small child's cup at the table? My son is 2 now, not sure if he should be weaned from The Sippy cup? Would love to know what everyone's thoughts on this are!
sippy cups
our pediatrician said that our daughter has to be off the bottle by a year. A few months ago we had gotten sippy cups which she did use but now she won't use them, she just chews on the tip. We even tried to get a different kind of cup that has a mouth piece similar to the nipple but she won't use that either. Any advice on how to get her to use the cup. She's not ready to hold a cup without a lid though. She's 9 months, if that helps.
