| We help you find the Southern Gospel Music you crave to help you rock! |
Talk about more music here! | | | Have you ever met a Celebrity? | | Have you ever met someone famous? If so who were they?
I had the pleasure of partying with the CHarlie Daniels band. Now mind you at the time, I had no idea who this band was. Not until I met my current husband, and he starts playing their awesome music. What a shock, when I found out, that the one offering me free back stage passes was really Charlie Daniels!
I was working at a restaurant, and one of my tables were harmonizing. I couldn't figure out for the life of me who this group was. It was the Manhattan Transfer. I was able to get autographs, and a nice tip to boot.
My husband was working for a security firm one year, and he had to do private duty for two young recording guys. He called me and asked me if I would like to go to a closed door autograph session for the "Nelson Twins". These were Ricky Nelson's boys. What awesome boys they were. Polite, considerate, one looks like Ricky the other more like his mom. THat was a special night.
How about you? Care to share a famous person with us?
| | Gold City Quartet | | For those of you who enjoy southern gospel music, I wondered if any of you had seen the Gold City Quartet live in concert.
They were in Hot Springs last Thursday night, and we were able to see them. They were very good and provided about 2 hours of great southern gospel music.
None of the members are originals, but they still do alot of the old GCQ music, including some that they did when they combined with the Kingsmen.
| | what music have you been listening to today | | in my case....Willows Song - The Wicker man soundtrack

Lovesong - The Cure

| | | | We went to a terrific gospel singing last night!! | | My son Stuart and I went with Amanda and Mark to a wonderful singing last night in Verona, Mississippi!! The group The Inspirations were there and another gentleman. We thoroughly enjoyed it!! I think it was so neat that Mark was willing to take Stuart and I along on their date. This wasn't the first time either. But he and Amanda love southern gospel music just like Stuart and I do and so he asked Amanda if we would like to go.:) We got information about another singing coming up in November while we were there last night and Mark asked us if we wanted to go that one also. He said he will go ahead and get the tickets if we do. I think we are going to go if he brings it up again. We really got a blessing out of The Inspirations last night and they are going to be at the singing in November along with another group we enjoy hearing called The McCaymees.Have a wonderful and a Blessed day!!Shelia | |
| | Aaron and Amanda Crabb in concert tonight | | My kids and I really enjoy listening to the gospel group The Crabb Family. They are not singing together as a group anymore, they felt led by God to go separate ways. They are all involved in different ministries but still singing gospel music. One of the twins, Aaron, and his wife Amanda are going to be singing in a church about 30 to 45 minutes from where we live. When we found out about it my daughter Amanda asked her boyfriend if he would be interested in going because he loves southern gospel music also. He was interested and I asked her to ask him if he would mind if Stuart and I come along with them. He was very nice and said he wouldn't mind at all. So the four of us, Amanda, Mark, Stuart and I are all going to the singing tonight. We are really looking forward to it. I'm going to take pictures so if any of you are interested in seeing them I'll be uploading them to my computer. God Bless and have a terrific evening and rest of the weekend!!! | |
