One guy was bragging on MySpace that he was returning home to start his own business even giving the name of who he would be working for. As it turns out, he had disappeared years earlier owing a rather large amount in back taxes. When he pulled up to his new place of employment, the authorities were there waiting on him. He had to pay it all right then or go to jail!!![em]cry[/em]Another guy was bragging about his vacation & letting his friends know where he was going & how long he’d be gone. | | I saw "Little Brother" today | | "Little Brother" is an orange cat, that is probably Taj's younger brother.Taj, as I've said, turned 7 back on the first of April. I found Taj, on April 28th, 2002, in my front yard at 4 weeks old.In Feb. of 2003, I spotted a pregnant tortie with 2 dilute orange cats, with very simular marks as Taj at the neighborhood Wendy's. I got my trap and went over and caught mom and the younger male and got them fixed.I had to assure the staff of Wendy's that I would return them when I was done. I never managed to catch the older male. I returned the mom and the younger cat to Wendy's after I determined I wasn't going to be catch the older brother.Shortly after I returned them, mom and the older brother disappeared. Mom, no longer driven to feed her unborn kittens, might've rediscovered that people weren't terrible. However, "Little Brother" stayed at Wendy's. Now, 6 years old, he is still at Wendy's looking fat and sassy. I saw him tonight.I'm happy that there is one feral that I had a part in saving the life of and extending his life. The people at Wendy's and Popeye's are also to take some credit, because they were the ones who took on feeding the... | |
| | if your son/ little brother prefers dolls to toy cars, what do you do? | | the usual picture is: girls like dolls, boys lika cars. girls like dresses, boys like playstations.what do you do when your son or little brother prefers barbie dolls? do you pull it away and hide it somewhere under all the cash in your most secure vault? or do you allow his request for another toy doll?as i am not yet a parent, i would like to know what's on the minds of those who already are. but people like me who do not have children yet are, of course, more than welcome to have their say.:D | |
| | Does your little brother knock you off? | | in my case, he does! when he's mad at me, he'll throw a punch on me.. even if i am just joking around him, it always made him so furious and immediately rush unto me and knock me down. Hooo! will he ever change? i know he's still a kid though but sometimes it makes me so upset about him, because of course i cant fight back to him because i'm older than him and should always be considerate to your younger siblings. However, it feels so unfair! how about you? experiencing it too?[; | |
| | | I once lost my little brother ... (funny now) | | I was 14 years old and often watched my 5 year old brother after school. My grand mother would pick him up from day care and drop him off for me to watch. Well it was a Tuesday and like most Tuesdays I heard her honk the horn so I went out side, talked to her for a few minutes and she left. Well my little brother was crying because she was leaving. I asked him if he wanted to bring the dog out and play. He got excited and said yes. So I went in and got the dog. He said he was going to play in the yard so I went back inside. (Andrew was very good about staying in the yard) So I went in and did a few things. About 5 minutes later I went out side and the dog was on the patio but Andrew wasn't. So I went outside and yelled ANDREW no answer, I went back in the house ANDREW no answer. I ran over to the bike park that was behind our house ANDREW!!! No answer. I was asking the people there have you seen a little boy in a red shirt. No one had seen him! So I ran home and called my mom - MOM ANDREW IS GONE!!! She told me to call 911, So I hung up with her and called. They told me to find recent pictures of him and I did. With in 2 minutes there were police at my door. With in 10... | |
| | little brother | | My little brother went to the doctors around oct. of 2006 for leg cramps, it turned out he had leukemia. He has been in a hospital in mass. for the holidays, came home after Christmas. Well, he just shot up a high fever and went to the er. They found out he has no white cells and has an infection they can't seem to find never mind cure. People are saying I should prepare myself for the worse. but how can you on something like this? Is there a good chance they can give him white cells to help fight off the infection with todays knowledge/technology or what? I don't want nothing to happen to him, and my son wants to give him some of his white cells. If only it was that simple and/or possible...any nice advice out there? | |
