Talk about more music here!| Recommend me some good Hip-Hop Music | | I've been listening for Hip-Hop ever since i was eleven(11) years old, but the number of tracks on my ipod from 2002 until now, is pretty minimal, Basically alot of the hip-hop that seems to be out these days, doesn't really do it for me, since i Live in Belgium, i dont have music channels on my TV, and stuffs that gets on the radio seems to be pretty mainstream, i guess i'm pretty ignorant, i know that the US has lot more specialist in Tv and radio hip-hop, and i'd be really happy if you'd throw some recomandations on me.
Thank you guyz and gallz
| | Why is rap and hip-hop music so popular? | | Why is it? It's everywhere-TV, MTV, radio, iTunes top 10 lists, the list goes on and on. I'm just curious as to why h/h and rap is so widely listened to and liked today? | |
| | Hip-Hop music | | My favorite hip hop rapper is Nas because I could relate to what he's speaking about in his music. hip hop wasn't about cars, clothes, jewlery or how many girls a person had. It was about using words instead of a gun or fighting physically. Rap is the healthiest sport around allowing people to express themselves. I like it when he combined blues with rap, that's creative hip hop. Jamming 94.wack is party music to get jiggy to making millions to say basically nothing. The more a person knows the more they can speak. | |
| | | Are you among those who hate hip-hop music? | | Well I am one of those who do. I don't know! I simply can't appreciate this genre. The rhythm seems all the same and the vocals sound almost monotonous to my ears. I'd get headache each time I hear a hip hop sound. But don't get me wrong, I understand those who love this genre. It just a matter of preference I think. If you hate or love hip-hop please share. | |
| | | Hip - Hop, Music of the Devil number 2? | | Last time I posted and asked this question, I had alot of disagreement and agreement.I had many answers to the question, even though some were not nice...Please read "Hip - Hop, Music of the Devil," the original one on my Mylot page, and tell me ehat you think, or you can just responde to the title...thank you, respectfully, XXGUTsXX1 | |
| | Hip - Hop, Music of the Devil? | | When you think of heavy metal (rock and roll), what do you think of? Crazy, energetic rock stars jumping off stages and expecting people to catch them (or something of that nature), right? Well; in the beggining it was the music of the devil. You see, music has emotional affects on people (heavy metal 'rock and roll' make you do crazy junk). Satan was originaly an angel of God 'until he thought he was better and "sentenced to Hell." God gave Lucifer (Satan) the power of music (since music controls people - it was the power to 'control people.' But then he realized, "why stick it and not spread it?" He then picked up many people listened to Hip - Hop and it was presumed the "new rock." Hip - Hope (just as easily as rock and roll) can make people do crazy junk - such as kill people. This is because
"the song (satan) said do it."
| | Rap and Hip Hop Music | | Why is it that some people don't consider rap a true musical genre? Why do some people hate it so much? I think I already know the answers to these questions, but I want to hear what others have to say. My views will come out as I respond to everyone else's responses. What is so wrong with rap? | |
