Talk about more music here!| Do you think there is "BEST TIME " to start discussions? | | [b]Disclaimer: I am not trying to steal your mylot secrets just trying to get some clarity on an issue[/b]There was a gentleman here who used to get many responses for his discussion (he is not here anymore ) who once said that the best time to start discussions was in the evening when everyone was home.Now that made sense and I must admit I tried it and got pretty good results ...Lately however, I have been testing that theory and starting discussions early in the morning and I have been gettting good results as well.Consequently this has led me to start reviewing my long held view and to believe that it is really my friends and the appeal of the discussion that determines how many responses I get.That to me seems logical because even if you start a discussion at a time when every one is mylotting and it doesnt appeal to anyone then no one will respond.In addition,there is never a time when everyone is here because many people live in different time zones so what is evening for you could be morning for someone else and vice versa.[b]I do stand corrected if evidence can be found which shows a clear link between teh time of post and the number of responses,so that is... | |
| | BB11:SPOILER Who is HOH,NOMS,and POV winner.... | | For those that can't wait til Sunday and Tuesday's show I will let everyone know what is going on. Now the only thing I don't know is how the POV is used. Ok so most already know Jeff won HOH. I am not sure the details on that one but I am sure leenie my dear friend and fellow spoiler will update us. The noms are nat and Kevin. No real surprise there. I know that J and J are still very worried over Russ. But I think it would be a bad move for them to back door him now. I just read a post by a friend a fellow mylotter saying that her daughter's school is sending out letters telling the kids not to celebrate Christmas in a religious way and that Christmas is just another holiday. What is happen to free speech? What if the children are Christian and they want to give thanks to our LORD? And rejoice that he came to earth on Christmas day and giving thanks to all the blessing he has given us including saving us? What is the need to take GOD out of our schools? | | We Almost Lost Our Baby | | As some of you already know, our beloved kitty Anna Belle was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism back in mid July. We started her on a daily regimen of medication for this, as prescribed. All seemed to be going well, until the week of July 28th. My daughter in law was visiting for the day, and I mentioned to her that I hadn't seen Anna Belle roaming around the house as usual that day. We checked up on her, and found her laying beneath the rocking chair in my bedroom. She didn't seem to be herself. However, by the end of the day, she was downstairs and eating normally.We gave her the thyroid meds for the next couple of evenings, and I found that she'd vomited each morning after this. I decided to discontinue the medication the next day, as the bottle warned to watch out for a possible toxic reaction. I phoned the vet the following morning, and she agreed with my decision. We were heading into our holiday weekend here, and as per the vet's instructions, I was to withhold the meds for the next four days, and call her back on the Tuesday morning.Saturday August 2nd started out as a normal day, with my daughter and I both home. We were both downstairs, when we heard our kitty vomit... | |
