Should Oscar De La Hoya retired from boxing?
The whole world witnessed how "The Golden Boy" Oscar De La Hoya lose or defeated by the Filipino Boxer, people's champ Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao. At first everybody says and predict, the fight is a real mismatch. People's champ is a no match to the "The Golden Boy" and so Oscar De La Hoya got many people in favored to him. But everybody witnessed Oscar De La Hoya's downfall. But good thing about "The Golden Boy" is his showing of his sportsmanship after the "Dream Match Fight". He has nothing bad words against Pacman but all praises to his opponent. Now the question of everybody, what comes after? Will Oscar De La Hoya plan to retired from boxing? Sports analysts says he should, but when the "Golden Boy" asked, he just simply answered "My heart still wants to fight,".What do you think?
Did Pacquiao really defeat De la Hoya or What?
This is not intended to get all filipinos to rise up on arms. it is justbeing submitted for discussion and to see what people really think. Of course we all saw the boxing bout where Pacquiao was declared the winner over de la Hoya but did he really win over de la Hoya? Or was the whole world fooled? Everyone or almost everyone knows the caliber of de la Hoya as a fighter but it cannot be denied that during the fight, he did not really box it out with Pacquiao. It was very obvious that he was holding back and not at all giving his all to the fight. I know many Filipinos will violently agree but honestly, do you believe it was a real boxing bout. Do you really believe that that that was the real form of de la Hoya??? It would be interesting to read your responses and opinions.
Did anyone watch the De la Hoya and Pacquio fight on Saturday night?
Well we ordered our first boxing match because they are like 60 bucks and we don't like spending that much. They had talked this fight up and I think de la hoya is hot so I wanted to see it because this could have been the fight of his career. OMG he was horrible. He looked like newbie out there. Pacquio is so fast and in his prime you can tell. I would love to see him with Floyd Mayweather, but you know he will not come out of retirement with a flawless record. That would be taking to big of a risk. So if you watched the fight how did you like it?
Manny Pacquioa Vs Oscar de la hoya
did you see the fight of manny and dela hoya the dream fight. you know that oscar dela hoya is the idol of manny? many said that fight of manny and oscar is scripted. i dont know it is true. but i think manny win thats match. the filipino is great firghter.

LAS VEGAS - On a Cold clear night at the glitzy Sin City, Filipino spitfire Manny Pacquiao, outlasted the famed Golden Boy, Oscar de La Hoya, and cemented his legacy as the best pound4pound boxer of the current generation. Pacquiao scored an 8th round TKO when Nacho Beristain indicated to the referee, Tony Weeks, that De La Hoya is done fighting for the night. read the full story>>> http://mpacquiao.blogspot.comOur very own Manny "PACMAN" Pacquiao wins over Oscar de La Hoya. Pacquiao wins by TKO on round 8. Congratulations Manny!! We Filipinos are very happy and proud of you!
Oscar De La Hoya Vs. Lloyd Mayweather Post Fight
this match was stupid and it didn't live up the hype... what do you think?
boxing golden boy Oscar de la Hoya retains his pride
Hello all!Observers say that dela Hoya's poor performance during the Dream Match against Manny Pacquiao last Dec. 6 was due to the fact that he had to lose weight in order to match Manny and also because of his age. Whatever the reason, Pacquiao simply dominated him.But the good thing is, dela hoya retained his pride. He was not knocked out. Although he surrendered, but he will not leave boxing as being knocked out on the last fight. At least, his camp was able to preserve the legendary boxing golden boy.Dela Hoya was simply all praises to Manny. he easily accepted defeat. Both are good fighters and they fought well. one was just better than the other.dela hoya is already considering a new career. what would it be this time?take care all and God bless you!mabuhay ang pilipino! you made us prouder, Manny!
What can You say about the Manny Pacquaio-Oscar de la Hoya boxing match???
Oscar was definitely no match from Manny despite the size and weight difference. The only one attacking was Manny all the time. Oscar was always defending until his left eyes swelled big and he surrendered in round 9. The fight was a match between two different weight category. It is called the Dream Match. I am a Filipino and I'm happy....
Do you think De La Hoya should retire?
I have not seen The Pacquio fight. But I do know that De La Hoya has lost his second straigt fight if I'm correct. I heard them talking about this fight on espn radio earlier yesterdy afternoon. And one of the guys said that they weren't paying to see this fight. They said that $55 was too much to pay to see a guy like De La Hoya fight. This fight wasn't show casing 2 up and comming studs. These are 2 fighters that are on their way out. This is all according to the radio anylists. They believe that De La Hoya should have been retired, and this should be his last fight. They believe that cahrging $55 for payper view is too much to see a guy like De La Hoya who no one really has any interest in. If this is correct, it would sound like De La Hoya doesn't have alot of fans anymore. Not to say that anyone doesn't like him personaly, but as someone who sells out alot of tickets when he has a match, I would believe that not many people go to see this guy based off of what I hear on the radio. So what do you think? Is it time for the golden boy to hang it up?
